Quick Answer
The Ichiban Kuji Last One Prize Great Ape Goku is a rare, authentic Bandai figure standing 26 cm tall, ideal for serious Dragon Ball collectors who value exclusivity and craftsmanship.
Why the Last One Prize Status Matters
In Ichiban Kuji, the Last One Prize is the final ticket drawn in a lottery, making it the hardest to obtain. This Great Ape Goku figure is part of The Chronicle of Goku series, celebrating key moments in Goku’s journey. Its rarity is a major draw for collectors, but it also means you should verify authenticity before buying.
Size and Display Considerations
At 10.14 inches (26 cm), this figure is a substantial centerpiece. Plan for shelf space that accommodates its height and base. The MASTERLISE quality ensures fine detailing, so position it where you can appreciate the sculpt up close.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How rare is the Last One Prize Great Ape Goku?
- As the Last One Prize, it is the final ticket in an Ichiban Kuji lottery, making it significantly rarer than standard prizes. Only one is awarded per store lottery, so availability is limited. If you see one listed, act quickly—it may not stay in stock.
- How can I verify authenticity?
- Look for official Bandai branding and the Ichiban Kuji logo on the box or figure. Purchase from reputable sellers who state the item is 100% authentic and sourced from Japan, like the one in this guide. Always ask for photos of the box and figure before buying from third-party sellers.
- Is the size suitable for my collection?
- At 26 cm, it’s taller than typical prize figures, so measure your display space. The MASTERLISE line is known for larger scales and intricate detail, so it deserves prominent placement. Consider a dedicated shelf to avoid crowding.
- What should I check before purchasing?
- Confirm the figure’s condition, packaging, and that it matches the official specifications. Since it’s a collectible, any damage to the box can reduce value. Request unboxing or packaging photos if buying online.
