Straight answers on the La+ Darknesss Chokonokko figure from Ichiban Kuji Hololive 2026: size, authenticity, pricing, display, and whether this mini figure fits your collection.
Quick answer
The La+ Darknesss Chokonokko figure is a 4.5 cm (1.76 in) Ichiban Kuji Hololive Chokonokko Collection 2026 prize figure from BANDAI, and it is a sensible pickup if you want an authentic, space-efficient Hololive mini figure rather than a large-scale centerpiece.
What the 4.5 cm size means for display and handling
At 4.5 cm, this is a true mini figure: it will sit comfortably on a monitor stand, a narrow shelf edge, or inside a small acrylic case. That makes it easy to fit into an existing Hololive display without reorganizing a whole cabinet. The tradeoff is that fine paint details and facial features are compressed into a very small surface, so expect the appeal to come from the chibi silhouette and character read rather than from large-scale sculpting. Handle it by the base or hair rather than the face, and keep it away from direct sun and heat, which are the usual causes of leaning or fading in small PVC figures.
Prize figure vs. scale figure: what you are actually buying
Ichiban Kuji prize figures are made for a lottery-style release, not a limited pre-order scale run. That usually means simpler paint separation and fewer interchangeable parts than a scale figure, but also a much lower entry price and a broader supply. For La+ Darknesss specifically, the supplied catalog lists no optional parts or option types, so plan on a single fixed pose. If you want a dramatic centerpiece, this is not that product; if you want an affordable, authentic character accent, the format works well.
Price context and the authenticity question
The catalog price is USD 20.40 against a comparison price of USD 30.00, which puts it in the impulse-buy range for a Hololive collectible. The listing states the figure is 100% authentic from Japan and dispatched directly from Osaka, which matters because prize figures are frequently counterfeited. Authenticity is not something you can confirm from a photo alone, so treat the seller's origin and packaging claims as the main signals and inspect the figure on arrival for sloppy paint edges, a loose base fit, or a missing copyright stamp.
La+ Darknesss Chokonokko FAQ
- How tall is the La+ Darknesss Chokonokko figure?
- The supplied specification is 1.76 inches, or 4.5 cm. That is small enough to sit on a keyboard ledge or a single acrylic riser step. Measure your intended spot before buying; anything under about 5 cm deep will fit.
- Is this the same as a full-scale La+ Darknesss figure?
- No. It is a Chokonokko prize figure from Ichiban Kuji Hololive Chokonokko Collection 2026 ver., designed as a palm-sized collectible rather than a large display piece.
- How can I tell whether it is authentic?
- Check that the listing states origin from Japan, inspect the base and paint edges on arrival, and compare the copyright marking with official Bandai prize figure markings. The catalog states authenticity but does not include a certificate, so the physical figure is your final check. Photograph the figure and packaging on unboxing in case you need to raise a concern.
- Does it come with alternate faces or accessories?
- The supplied catalog lists no option types or extra parts, so treat it as a single fixed-pose figure. Do not assume swap-out parts based on other Chokonokko releases.
- Is USD 20.40 a fair price?
- The catalog shows USD 20.40 against a USD 30.00 comparison price. For an authentic prize figure shipped from Japan, that is a low-risk amount, but compare against current listings if you are buying several at once.
- Where should I display a 4.5 cm figure?
- Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources, on a stable surface at or below eye level. A small acrylic case or a riser step prevents dust and accidental knocks.
