Quick answer
The Ichiban Kuji Hunter x Hunter Zoldyck Family Mike Last One Prize figure is a rare 11.7-inch MASTERLISE EXTRA statue from Bandai, ideal for dedicated collectors who value exclusivity and authentic Japanese craftsmanship.
Why the Last One Prize matters
In Ichiban Kuji lotteries, the Last One Prize is awarded to the final ticket buyer, making it the rarest variant in the set. The Mike figure is the Last One Prize for the Zoldyck Family series, which means it is produced in much smaller quantities than the standard prizes. This scarcity directly affects its value and collectibility.
What to know about the MASTERLISE EXTRA line
Bandai's MASTERLISE EXTRA series focuses on larger-scale figures with detailed sculpting and paintwork. The Mike figure stands 11.7 inches (30 cm) tall, which is noticeably bigger than typical prize figures. This scale makes it a centerpiece piece but also means you need adequate display space.
Condition and authenticity considerations
Because this figure is a rare Last One Prize, its condition heavily impacts its long-term value. The catalog notes that this item is in great condition and is 100% authentic, shipped directly from Osaka, Japan. When buying from any source, always verify the packaging integrity and look for official Bandai markings to avoid counterfeits.
Decision rules for buying the Mike figure
- Check the prize tier: Confirm the figure is labeled as the Last One Prize (not Prize A, B, or C) because that determines rarity and price. The Mike figure is exclusive to this tier. Only Last One Prize versions carry the highest collector value.
- Verify the scale and space: At 11.7 inches, this figure requires a shelf depth of at least 12 inches and a height clearance of 13 inches. Measure your display area before purchasing.
- Inspect packaging for authenticity: Look for the official Bandai logo, Ichiban Kuji branding, and a 'Made in Japan' or 'Distributed by Bandai' sticker. The catalog confirms this item ships from Osaka with original packaging. If the box lacks these marks, the figure may be a counterfeit.
- Compare price with standard prizes: The catalog lists this Last One Prize at USD 110.05 (compared to USD 155.00). Standard Zoldyck Family prizes are typically cheaper. Paying a premium for the Last One Prize is justified only if you value exclusivity. If you just want a Mike figure, a standard prize version (if available) will cost less.
